My life is awesome. My family is the best. My friends are great too. My husband is so hot. My baby is beautiful.

Life so far has exceeded my expectations...

People told me it is great when you get married - they left out how awesome it is to share your life with your best friend.

I was also told that it was great when you become a mom. Although, nobody told me how incredible it is... It's one of those "you had to be there" experiences. I could go on and on about how every movement Madison makes is monumental, or what is feels like to be able to identify who's lips, nose, and ears she has... but no description of these events could capture what it feels like to have a baby. "You have to see it to believe it".

The other night Madi woke me up around 2 to feed her, but she wouldn't eat. She would eat a little and stop and just stare at me. So, I continued to try to coax her into eating again, she would dabble for a minute and then stop again and stare. This continued for a little while and I was so tired. I just wanted her to hurry and finish so I could go back to sleep. After a little while I started getting a little frustrated "Come on Madi, just eat!" ... just as I finish saying this Madison gives me the biggest cheesiest smile you've ever seen - and all feelings of frustration were gone. I could help but laugh and love her.

My life now revolves around this amazing little person. There are few moments of the day when I'm not thinking about how long it is until she has to eat, when to change her diaper, if she needs to sleep, if she needs a pacifier, if she needs her Mommy, or if she needs to play with her Daddy... the list goes on and on. Although the best part is. I LOVE it. I love being her mom. I love holding her tiny little body close to mine, and smelling her little head - I love that I can make her better when she is crying. I love that she is my baby girl.

I highly recommend being a mom!
